How to Soothe Diaper Rash

3. Make a Mixture of 1 Part Baking Soda and 8 Parts Water

To soothe diaper rash, mix 1 part baking soda with 8 parts water and apply it to the inflammation. This will help neutralize the inflammation’s acidity and reduce redness and irritation. 

When to See a Doctor for Diaper Rash

If diaper rash treatment doesn’t work within a few days, or if it worsens, be sure to see a doctor. Sometimes diaper rash can signify a more serious problem, such as a yeast infection. Your doctor can prescribe the proper treatment to clear up the rash.
